StarBengal is a small, home based, cattery located in San
Diego, California. Earl
Shropshire, the founder of StarBengal, has been working with the Bengal
breed for over 15 years and has produced several of the most well known Bengals
to date. StarBengal DiCaprio, StarBengal Patton and Amerikatz Oceli Cloud Of
StarBengal are just a few of the many historical Bengals to be part of the
StarBengal family. If you already own a Bengal, take a
look at his or her pedigree, odds are you'll be able to trace it back to one of
those three famous Stars mentioned above!
Here at StarBengal we not only strive to give you the most
beautiful, good natured, loving Bengal but also, or
should I say most importantly, we strive to give you a healthy Bengal.
Many Bengal breeders have sadly got caught up in the beauty of the Bengal's
magnificent coat and texture and have forgotten to keep in mind that beauty
means nothing if you don't have the health to go along with it. Health is at
the top of our list and all of our breeding cats are vet checked and heart
certified (HCM screened) on a regular basis. Almost all of our Bengal
kittens go to their new homes already spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, fully
vaccinated, de-wormed and vet checked. By having all this done before they go
to their new homes we eliminate much of the stress associated with the
re-homing process. When you take your Bengal kitten home
all you have to do is love it!
Our Bengal kittens are also sent home
with the food they have been eating, a bag of litter, their toys, health
records, baby pictures and a CD full of training information.The Bengals are very similar to dogs. They
can easily be harness and leash trained, love to play fetch and trained to
sit, shake, roll over and even toilet trained.The CD we send home with them goes over how to train your new Bengal
kitten and has loads of other useful information.
Due to the unique personality of the Bengal cat and its high
energy level, we ask that before calling to inquire about availability, prices or
when you can come see the kittens that you have done your part to research the
Bengal to make sure it's the right breed for you and your family.We highly encourage you to check out

ask that you take a gander at our Adoption Application, as you will be asked to
fill it out and send it back before we set up a time for you to come to our
home to view the babies.The application
answers most of our questions and helps us to get to know you better and allows

will NOT be shared with anyone outside StarBengal.
