small, home based, cattery located in San
Diego, California. Earl
Shropshire, the founder of StarBengal, has been working with the Bengal
breed for over 15 years and has produced several of the most well known
Bengals

StarBengal are just a few of the many historical Bengals to be part of
the
StarBengal family. If you already own a Bengal,

Here at StarBengal we
not only strive to give you the most
beautiful, well natured, loving Bengal but also,
or
should I say most importantly, we strive to give you a healthy Bengal.
Many Bengal breeders have sadly got caught up in the beauty of the
Bengal's
magnificent coat and texture and have forgotten to keep in mind that
beauty
means nothing if you don't have the health to go along with it. Health
is at
the top of our list and all of our breeding cats are vet checked and
heart
certified (HCM screened) on a regular basis. Almost all of our Bengal
kittens go to their new homes already spayed/neutered, micro-chipped,
fully
vaccinated, de-wormed and vet checked. By having all this done before
they go
to their new homes we eliminate much of the stress associated with the
re-homing process. When you take your Bengal
kitten home
all you have to do is love it!
Our Bengal
kittens are also sent home
with the food they have been eating, a bag of litter, their toys, health
records, baby pictures and a CD full of training information. The Bengals are very similar to dogs. They
can easily be harness and leash trained, love to play fetch and trained
to
sit, shake, roll over and even toilet trained.
The CD we send home with them goes over how to train your new Bengal
kitten and has loads of other useful information.
Due to the unique
personality of the Bengal cat and its high
energy level, we ask that before calling to inquire about availability,
prices or
when you can come see the kittens that you have done your part to
research the
Bengal to make sure it's the right breed for you and your family. We highly encourage you to check out
different web sites like The International Bengal Cat Society and take a
look
at Bengal Cat Videos on YouTube. We also
ask that you take a gander at our Adoption Application, as you will be
asked to
fill it out and send it back before we set up a time for you to come to
our
home to view the babies. The application
answers most of our questions and helps us to get to know you better and
allows
you to be the one asking the questions when you come see the babies. The information you give on the application
will NOT be shared with anyone outside StarBengal.
